INTERNATIONAL NÔM CONFERENCE 2006

The Organizing Committee of the 2006 International Nôm Conference (NÔM 2006), is pleased to invite you to participate in an international conference on chữ Nôm that will be held in Huế, Vietnam, June 1 & 2, 2006.
The Conference is organized by The Thừa Thiên-Huế Office of Science and Technology, the Thừa Thiên-Huế Office of Culture and Information, the Center for the Preservation of Huế Imperial Relics, The Research Institute of Hán-Nôm (Vietnam) and the Vietnamese Nôm Preservation Foundation (U.S.A.).

You are invited to organize a panel, a booth for publications, a booth for software demonstration or an invited session. Panel sessions including both Nôm linguists, Nôm language researchers and IT practitioners are highly encouraged. You are also invited to put ads in our Conference Programme which will be published at the conference site and over the internet. The conference papers will be published in the Proceedings of the 2006 International Nôm Conference, the hard copy of which will be sent to major university libraries. Please feel free to distribute this Call for Participation to NOM 2006, to your colleagues.
