Wide or narrow, inserted with a stick. The hotter you get, the more refreshing. Wonderful both night and day. Cheeks juicy soft, persimmon pink. Kings and lords just love this thing. |

| The cây cậy produces a pink juice used as a cosmetic and also to seal paper fans. Thái-Bạch in his Thơ Hồ Xuân Hương (Saigon: Nhà Sàch Khai-Trí, 1968, p.57) says that the fruit of the cậy (trài cậy) “is similar to but smaller than” the fruit of the persimmon (trái hồng), but used to paint fans because of its pink color and because it is juicier, although it has an acrid taste. | |
